From Nashville, take I-40 toward Knoxville/Huntsville, and continue for more than 186 miles to exit 407.Turn left onto Tsali Boulevard, and continue for 3 miles until you reach the Oconaluftee Visitor Center. Then turn right onto Tsalagi Road, and you will arrive in Cherokee. In Dillsboro, take the interchange to US-441 N for about 5 miles. After about 25 miles, the road changes names and becomes US-23 N you continue for 93 miles more and enter North Carolina. At exit 113 and at the junction take I-985 N toward Gainesville.
